About Me
Julie McConnell is from the Queen City, Charlotte, NC. She is currently in Ada, Ohio pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in dance at Ohio Northern University. Julie first realized her passion for being on the stage when she was 6 and performed in the ensemble of The Music Man alongside her mother. She loved the dancing she did in the show, so she joined a competition dance studio where she trained for 6 years. She realized she wanted to pursue theatre full time when she was 15 and returned to the stage in her high school's production of Rock of Ages. She has now found her second home at ONU, and is set to graduate in May of 2025.
Some of Julie's favorite things are choreography, coloring, watching movies, the color green, dogs, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
